I designed, developed, and supported various systems (intranet /extranet) for SharePoint server of Bajaj Auto Ltd R&D division.

Responsibilities:

Support activities for SharePoint 2013 Web farm. Create / delete users, groups, access management, new site creation, web page creations, custom search page with search web parts and new application developments.

Study requirements of each workflow in detail and creation of System Requirement Study (SRS) document.

Multiple departments are involved in each workflow like design team, stores, plant and sometimes vendor, so closely study requirements of all departments and correctly mention these requirements in SRS document.

Clearly communicate the actual requirement mentioned in SRS document and development of SharePoint system according to document.

Creation of different groups and access management.

SharePoint list customization, web page customization, installing features managing entire workflow in list customization for various projects like IT Support Request, Test Request Management, Inter-Plant material request, Overtime Request, Dispatch Request, Cash Purchase Request, Vehicle Management System and Birthday Wish System.

Intranet and extranet project Vendor Communication System helps R&D engineer to send new development parts to Vendor with the help of workflow. Vendors are able to comment and attach different files for R&D engineer.

Each project is business process automation workflow and these workflows are developed in Visual Studio Workflow as well as in Nintex Workflow depending up of complexity. Complex workflows with file uploads are developed with Visual Studio Workflow and Custom Event receiver.

Developed and published RESTful WEB API 2.0 with MVC 5.0 Entity Framework (giving out put as JSON data) from energy project database and consumed this web service in front end application developed in C#, ASP.NET. Front end application was developed to create reports. In this application I also used Google charts jquery API to create high end charts. I would like to mention here that Google charts API is free to use to no extra cost for using this application.

Creation and installation of feature for particular list content types and used JavaScript/jQuery for cascading dropdown list, searching user names etc.

Using InfoPath forms to customize item creation forms.

Created reports with in C# ASP.NET as well using SSRS with SharePoint list as a data source.
