I started my carrier in the government sector as Junior scientist in the plant tissue culture division of National chemical laboratory, Poona, India. Where I worked for six years under able guidance of Dr A.F. Mascarenhas on Department of Environment and Department of Biotechnology funded research Projects on Endangered forest trees species like Cyathea spinulosa, Vanilla walkareae, Delphinium malabaricum, Pterocarpus- santalinus (Red sandal wood), Teak (Tectona grandis), Eucalyptus and developed micro-propagation system for Cyathea-spinulosa. Also got rich experience of collection of plant material from deep forest of Southern India.

Experience on more than 200 varieties of different plants, there culture, cutting techniques, media preparation, preservation, hardening in green house, shade net of international standards.

(B) Ornamental Plants: Citrosa- Pelargonium, Cordyline, Dionea, Ficus, Philodendron, Rhododendron, Schefflera anate, Syngonium, Yucca, Phormiums, Miscanthus.

(C) Fruit plants: Banana- 5 varieties, Strawberry, and Grapes.

The key areas where I am very good professionally are Formulating the media composition for different plants, Inoculation of plants with there cutting techniques, Quality control, Hardening the plants in green houses. Packaging the in-vitro- plants (ex-agar) or hardened plants for despatch as per international requirements to any- where in the world.
