Billings Auto-Auction System: Visual Basic/SQL Server application development. Architect and development of 3-tier EDI components to communicate with Ford Motor and General Motors Companies. These components were developed using SQL Server 2000, DTS, and Visual Basic to provide Electronic Data Interchange with Ford and other vehicle manufactures from a common Auto Auction Management database. Development of an Auto Auction Management System user interface and database components with interface for Great Plains accounting package.

Responsibilities:

Analyze, design and develop Visual Basic Modules for troubleshooting and testing of data capture, packaging and data transfer between major Auto Manufacturers and Auto Auction houses using Data Transformation Services (DTS) and Electronic Data Interchange (EDI).

Develop project plan for test scheduling and program migration/implementation.

Develop user training requirements and documentation.

Conduct User training sessions

Interface with senior leadership and integrate the project into operation/production.

Develop and manage automated documentation program

Complete plan for system re-architecture tracking and modifications.

Communicate with customer and application development team to ensure customer data requirements and data transactions will meet operational requirements.

Determine the best possible interface method for integration with General Motors/Ford data and database reporting structures.

Determine user needs for Database data design and maintain internal versions of such Databases to fulfill user requirements.
