Installation, configuration, kernel upgrade and maintenance of Suse Linux Enterprise Server (ver. 9-12) and the SSI Warehouse Management System (WMS) program using Apache Tomcat (ver 5-7). Utilization of system tools for services problem resolution such as Top, Topas, PX, Netstat, Traceroute, Arp, etc. Installation, upgrade, maintenance and problem resolution for Oracle databases (ver 9-12). Managing DHCP configuration and clients, Configuration and troubleshooting for DNS. LDAP configuration and user management. Troubleshooting and problem resolution for SAN storage components. Notable Projects:

SSI

Migration of all client server databases and WMS configurations to in-house ESXi server.

Physical installation and configuration of Suse Linux production servers and Windows Servers on-site for clients in the Brazilian states of Minas Gerais, Bahia, São Paulo, Ceará, Parana and also in Argentina.

Participation in automation retro-fit projects for various clients.

ISC

Transition of upgrading the 80 Workstations for the entire school from WinNT to Win2000 (2003).

Implemented an ISC Webmail system with Squirrelmail (2004).

Built a new DNS server, upgrading from Conectiva Linux (CL) 7 to Conectiva Linux 10 (2004).

Built a new File Server, upgrading from CL 8 to CL 10 (2005).

Upgraded 150 Workstations for the entire school again from Win2000 to WinXP (2005).

Built a new Firewall Server, upgrading from CL 7 to CL 10 (2006).

Implemented a wireless LAN segment (2006).

CompuWave

Co-led a team on a project to complete the hardware installation of 13 racks of IBM Servers and 100s of Workstations and nearly 1000 laptops for a new School District learning center called the Center for Advanced Research and Technology (CART). Including building the racks, upgrading the Server memory and installing them in the racks; video card, wireless cards, and memory upgrades for the IBM Workstations, software installation on the classroom Workstations, and imaging the laptops (2000).

Setup and maintained a wireless lab of Workstations and Server in a Virtual Business Classroom for the Fresno Unified School District (2001).
