1.Worked as a Researcher for 3 months at the Department of Microbiology (PGIBMS) on the ICMR summer vocational project during the year 1982 on the scheme entitled – “Parasitic infestation among Orphanage Population in Madras City”.

2.Worked as a Trainee for one month at the Department of Microbiology, Christian Medical College and Hospital, Vellore and had training on the techniques on the cultivation of bacteria, during the tenure of my Masters programme (M.Sc.Course) in 1984.

3.Worked as a Researcher in the Department of Microbiology (PGIBMS) on the Dissertation programme (Project) during the last year of completion of M.Sc. course (1984), on the scheme entitled, "HBs Ag detection in animals", for a period of one year.

4.Worked as a Researcher on the Junior Research Fellowship (Direct award) under the ICMR scheme from 1988 to 1992, under the Project entitled – "Role of Beta – lactamases in Ampicillin induced Clostridium difficile Enterocolitis in human".

5.Worked as a Research trainee for 10 days at Postgraduate Institute of Medical Education and Research (PGIMER), Dept. of Microbiology, Chandigarh, in Sept. 92 on “Anaerobic bacteria cultivation Techniques”.
