Hired as senior buyer of fabricated details, Responsible for administrations of purchase orders, coordinating supplier rejections with quality assurance. I was team leader for the “Fabrication Continuous Improvement Team”. I was asked and accepted the position as purchasing manager supporting 7 buyers / subcontract administrators.

I was hired as quality control manager for a 45 person sheet metal shop that manufactured detailed parts and assemblies for the aircraft and commercial industries. Responsible for 5 inspectors, calibration of company owned tools, personal tools, process improvements, customer returns.

Initially hired to perform quality and systems audits, rewrite the company quality manual and related procedures in preparation for the Boeing “Preferred Supplier Certification” assessment. After successfully leading the management team to a Bronze level of certification I was asked to perform as the production manager for a 30 person machine shop and fabrication facility. I was asked and agreed to assume the responsibility as the C-17, project manager

Hired as contracts / purchasing manager. I assumed the responsibilities of operations manager for a 25 person machine shop. Integral with management responsibilities, I regularly performed all aspects of estimating, proposal issuance, contract review and acceptance. I was the primary contact for all customers.

I was Initially hired as senior buyer on MD-11 program supporting the procurement of machined parts, fabricated assemblies and non metallic details. Significant knowledge of tool manufacture and manufacturing methods required to support aircraft production. Worked as a senior buyer, procurement specialist, and procurement manager while at the Macon facility. I managed 13 buyers including technical and procedural training while supporting a proactive supplier base reduction objective and development of “preferred suppliers”.

Senior Buyer – Responsible for procurement of all machined parts and fabricated assemblies to support division 1F. (Army Programs) Procurement responsibility progressed into cable and harness procurement, printed wiring boards and wired backplane assemblies. Key contributor in assisting in supplier base reduction program. The supplier base was reduced from over 1000 suppliers to 387 “Preferred Suppliers”.

PLANNER (July 1984 – March 1985) Responsibilities included interpretation of customer prints and developing a working drawing including manufacturing routing. Incorporated engineering changes and product improvements.

ESTIMATOR / Production Control Supervisor (April 1983 – July 1984) Responsibilities included interpretation of customer blueprints and specifications; determination of material projections and providing estimates to sales including quantity break pricing.

Warranty Administrator – Responsible for obtaining pre-authorizations per technician estimates, receiving approvals, implementing the work to the shop and filing claims.

Service Writer – Responsible for checking in customers requiring service on their RV's. Responsible for follow up with status of repairs, providing estimates, proper documentation for warranty payments, and administration of service contract payments in accordance with company and OEM processes.

Initially hired as the service manager. As the service manager I was responsible for the managing and scheduling of 5 technicians, 2 service writers and one warranty administrator. Performed all aspects of service management as well as being responsible for any customer service issues. On 01/03/11 was offered the opportunity to assume the position of General Manager at the Pooler, GA. Location. I assumed the responsibility to manage a retail Camping World store which included management of 7 employees. Duties include warehouse / inventory management, merchandising to company standards, timely resolution of any customer service issues.

I was responsible for successful operation as the as the service manager for a successful RV sales and service company. I am currently responsible for 8 technicians. Responsibilities include daily shop load, customer satisfaction, employee training, customer complaints, meeting company financial objectives.
