Supplier Quality Engineer

Maintained supplier base in San Diego California. Commodities were castings, machined parts, PC boards, and operating systems.

Performed surveillance and follow up corrective action greatly reducing defects and raising supplier’s acceptance levels to above 98% acceptance rate. Casting company had scrap rate reduced from 28% to 4% with process improvements and more robust inspection requirements.
