Chris Hinshaw
Staff Firmware Engineer at Avocent
Though I worked in a different site from Lisa, I knew her as the 'go-to' person when I needed to get something done, and done
right the first time. Lisa set the bar very high for those of us outside of her department. Lisa's ability to understand the requests
from the Engineering team, and her understanding of how to drive the contract manufacturing (CM) company to complete the
prototype hardware on time and within the agreed upon budget was vital to the success of many concurrent projects. When the
(CM) ran into problems, she would push them to pull the delivery back into schedule, and would also warn the Engineering team
of the potential delay. This warning is something that is sorely missed with the current NPI team.
I was sorry to see her go, and would like to congratulate any company that is smart enough to hire such a driven and capable
individual.
