Responsible for the oversight of all System Development Life Cycle (SDLC) phases, scheduling, personnel, financial and project planning for three IT projects within the Directorate of Instructional Technology at the Maryland State Department of Education. Responsible for the analysis, design, development and implementation of the primary eCommerce site for Recorded Books, LLC. Enabled customers to purchase digital downloadable products, CDs and other audio material. The site created completely interactive experience for consumers and allowed them to see their order history and alerted them to the contents of their subscriptions.

Led effort in an ASP.net MVC environment in C# with SQL database. The site is part of a system that interacts with an internal ERP system where the data resides.

Led teams of up to 10 in the full life cycle delivery of systems, portals, and tools from initial planning and design through implementation and enhancement.

Led the development and deployment of the JDEIS portal that supports the business processes and informational needs of the joint warfighting community with searchable cross-indexed relational databases for joint doctrine, Universal Joint Task List (UJTL) tasks, and distributed learning content. Received high quality mark from Joint Staff client for key initiative.

Oversaw the design and rollout of the JCAMS leveraging the JDEIS portal infrastructure, an online collaborative tool that provides a single source repository for all Joint Capability Areas and the definitive source for all JCA data. Managed the deployment onto the military classified and unclassified networks in the Pentagon. Solution was recognized for reducing travel costs while expediting the approval of Joint Doctrine manual by 50%.

Managed the development and integration of JDLLIS database into the JDEIS portal infrastructure, a centralized system of records for observations, lessons learned, and after-action reports.

Directed the build out of 60 online training courses, 30 podcasts, and 16 eBooks for the JDEIS portal. Oversaw the conversion of military training manuals into eLearning tools to enhance the delivery of training to personnel.

Created and implemented new Quality Control Process for system updates and configuration changes to JDEIS portal on classified and unclassified networks that reduced deployment timeframe by 50%.
