As the Senior Business Analyst, my role with Bluefin is to assist the IT department in creating Business Analyst (BA) process, procedures, forms (requirements, scope, etc.) for all BA deliverables in the SDLC. Worked as a programmer analyst with duties that included:
Provided maintenance and enhancements to the existing Property Classification Memorandum (PCM) using VB6, dll, COM, excel, Active Reports. Converted the original PCM application from VB4 to VB6.
Developed and supported the Legal Opinion (LEGOP) intranet application allowing staff to track and request legal opinions from the state’s Judicial Department. This application was done using Coldfusion, CSS, HTML, JavaScript, and LDAP.
Developed and support the Oregon Map (ORMAP) website which is a statewide property tax parcel base map that is digital. This application was done using Dreamweaver, HTML, ArcIMS, ArcSDE, PHP, CSS, JavaScript, and Apache Server. See www.ormap.org.

Created new Woodwork Software package to be sold to various clients in the lumber industry. The software consisted of many subsystems for log purchasing; delivery sales, invoicing, veneer; sorting, grading, shows, orders, releases, and production; sawmill, slicing drying, etc.
Maintained an Intranet payroll application for a Gental Dental client using ASP, HTML, Sequel Server, and JavaScript.
Created a veneer product bar code tracking systems for a customer, this led to being used as a software package for other customers in the veneer industry.
Introduced and trained company owner and the Software Development Manager on MS Project Management software to assist in software project management.
Programmer Analyst October 1996 –April 2000
State of Oregon - PERS Portland, Oregon
Constructed new VB 6 applications for membership, and retirement, death and disability benefits subsystems. These duties included constructing coding, testing, documenting, writing program specification, interviewing users to obtain user requirements, unit, and system testing.
Responsible for development of all window application installation packages including registering appropriate data link libraries such as MDAC and DCOM. Ensued applications compiled and installed with appropriate operator systems (e.g., WINNT, WIN95, and WIN98). Provided maintenance and enhancements of PERS’ Membership, Benefits, and Security systems. Duties included unit and system testing, program analysis, detail design and scope documentation using COBOLII, CICS, JCL, MVS, IMS and DB2.
