Diesel and has cleaner emission

Any Modification of an engine.

Title : Synthesis and characterization of CNT reinforced

aluminium matrix

Nanocomposites through powder metallurgy

technique.

Description :The demand for materials possessing enhanced

properties has been on the increasing in

aeronautics, automobile and other sectors, the need for

light weight, high strength material is required. The

aim of the project is to develop material which is high

strength to weight ratio, so carbon nanotubes used as

reinforcement which is regarded as the ultimate fiber for

reinforcement of matrices due to its excellent mechanical

and electrical properties, for weight reduction the light

alloy aluminium is used as matrix material.

Results Achieved: Carbon nanotube reinforced aluminium matrix

strength and light weight material is required.

Aluminium hardness increases and

wear rate decreases as reinforcement
