Implementation and monitoring of HSE issue at coral workboats ( MV Pac Bintan & MV Armada Goodman ).

Participate in management HSE visit with Petronas and produce report and recommendations to HSE Manager & Senior Project Manager..

Ensure hazard & threat are identified and mitigation plan being followed all the time.

Compilation of Active Care Tool & Behaviour Observation Tool and to present during operation meeting with Petronas.

Preparation of HSE Planner for TSM project according to TSM Workpack.

Preparation of JHA for cold & hot work activities for TSM project and to be review during JHA rejview meeting with Petronas.

IOI Edible Oil Sdn Bhd a subsidiary of IOI Corporation Berhad, ia a leading palm oil and palm kernel oil refinery plant at Sandakan, Sabah.I am head of HSE department and are responsible to advice and coordinate on all Health, Safety and Environment related matters.

Support the management in their HSE roles, including the development of risk assessments and Safe Work Procedures.

Provide and support HSE training & safety toolbox required.

Investigate accident /incident and identify & implementation of remedial actions.

To ensure hazard associated with plant and equipment have been identified and appropriate control measures put in place.

To review and update safe work procedures as the process and circumstances change.

My responsibilities as a Health, Safety, Security and Environment Officer ( HSSEO ) is to enforce 12 life saving rules and regulations as lain down by Shell Malaysia.

To plan, organise, delegate and control all safety procedures and systems under Shell HSSE pillar

– to protect human life and environment.

To ensure toolbox are conducted daily and monitored

To monitor the movement of people within the base for security and ER purpose.

To conduct monthly HSSE committee and drivers safety meeting

Sarikat Berjaya Contractor Sdn Bhd – Assistant Safety Officer Syarikat Berjaya Contractor Sdn Bhd is a ISO9001 compliant company with certification scope on provision of building construction and civil engineering works. Now they are involved in constructing 10 storey complex Starcity consisting of commercial shopping arcade cum leisure and entertainment facilities business suite and hotel at Kota Kinabalu. My duties as a Assistant Safety officer is to enforced and implement safety and health regulations as per OSHA 1994 and FMA1967 :

To work with project management on safety and health requirements and develop safety standard practice at site.

To monitor safety performance and advice the management on the control measures.

Develop risk assessment report to identify occupational hazards at work place.

To conduct monthly safety and health meeting at site.

To develop safety and health committee, emergency response plan and job hazard analysis.

To conduct monthly safety inspection for scaffolds, tower crane, mobile crane, compressor and tools.

To liaise with DOSH, NIOSH and DOE on safety, health and environment issues and circulate the information to the management and all workers.

Safety & Logistic Coordinator - PPSC Industries Sdn Bhd ( Petronas as a client ) PPSC Industries Sdn Bhd is a pipe coating contractor for oil and gas industries and a subsidiary of Wah Seong Corporation which operates two pipe coating plants in Malaysia. Now we are doing 3LPE coating for Sabah-Sarawak Gas Pipeline project which own by Petronas. I was assigned as a Logistic Coordinator and responsible of planning, managing and implementation of HSE procedures of logistic operations. My other responsibilities are:

Planning of inventory management in PPSC Warehouse

Ensure of stock availability of coating materials for daily production used.

Ensure movements of stock comply with FIFO.

Maintain track record of expiry date for materials and chemicals.

Ensure availability of Job Hazard Analysis ( JHA ) and Safe Work Procedure( SWP ) at Warehouse and Plant Stores.

Coordinating with Plant Manager, Plant Superintendent, Project Coordinator and Maintenance Engineer on the management of coating materials and machinery spares.

Planning and liaise with Manufacturer on quantity of stock to be ordered.

Liaise with Custom Department, Shipping Agent, Forwarding Agent, Courier and Transportation Company on arrangement of incoming shipment/consignment by sea/air.

Monitor plant usage of coating materials to avoid excessive waste and variation in projected figures.

To perform daily inspection on site management of coating materials.

To produced daily report to General Manager on overall usage of coating materials.

Conduct a joint stock check with Contractor and Auditor at PPSC Warehouse and Plant Stores.

Coordinating with third party, QC Inspector and client for non-conformance report on coating materials.

Ensure Materials Safety Data Sheet ( MSDS ) is updated and available for reference.

Ensure company owned vehicles, Crane and transportation contractors comply with Safety and legal requirement and vehicles are in roadworthy condition with the operators possess required certification/license and fit to work.

Maintain a record of all vehicles used for projects, the duration of hire and other relevant.

Liaise with contractors and suppliers on HSE related issues.

Ensure all workers assigned to the work are aware and well versed in the safety procedures associated in handling of coating materials. All vehicles and equipments are checked visually of any wear and tear. All workers should be provided with PPE as required and according to their designated workplace condition.

6. Engineering Supplies Officer - Malaysia Airlines Bhd In May 2004, I was promoted as an Engineering Supplies Officer (ESO). My Main responsibilities are:

To ensure storing of materials in the main store are in accordance to ISO Standard.

To monitor the storage environment of the whole warehouse on a daily basis.

To ensure that Logistics are being handled efficiently and all stations request are being attended to.

To ensure that important documents such as Certificate of conformance of all aircraft components are marked, arranged and well kept for the Dept of Civil Aviation’s audit.

To ensure that all hazardous waste are disposed off in accordance to law and that it is not contravene with DOE’s regulations.

To ensure that OSHA and all in-house safety measures are being strictly followed.

Preparing roster for main stores/warehouse personnel.

To work with Planning and Maintenance Dept for any aircraft HMV visit, for spare procurement and pre-staging.

To ensure that all special tools taken out from the tool-crib are recorded and monitored for returned, damage, missing and exchanged. Damaged tools must be replaced timely.

Preservation and maintenance requirements follow-up.

Surplus and scrap material follow-up (tracking)

Reconciliation supervision where applicable between physical and system quantity.

Preparation of materials for next usage i.e. Pre-staging.

To carry out weekly, monthly and annual stock check for a specific types of materials

Quotation selection (for approval from Inventory Controller)
