Interact with clients to understand their specific requirements and execute projects accordingly.

Negotiating with customers for understanding the process requirements and Commissioning.

Responsible for preparation of DCS related documents like Bill of material & list of software, Cabinet general specification,

General & internal arrangement of Cabinets and Consoles, Power consumption & Heat dissipation, Internal wiring diagrams for marshaling cabinets, Data sheets preparation for bought-out items, IO database finalization, DCS and PLC Front/Nest loading (etc.)

System configuration: Design of the overall project based on the customers’ requirements.

GA, IA, and IPW drawing: General arrangement, internal arrangement and internal power wiring of the cabinets and the consoles.

Power distribution and heat dissipation: Power distribution and heat dissipation calculations of the devices which are to be arranged inside the cabinet.

Grounding plan: Design and analysis of Grounding points of various instruments within the cabinets and consoles.

Front loading: Arrangement of various cards in respective slots within the cabinets.

Nest loading: Allocation of analog and digital field tags within the cards based on the database from the customers.

Field cable termination: Design comprising of termination points of analog and digital signals.

Interconnection cable schedule: Connectivity of various signal flow between the cabinets.

Panel Engineering: Panel design and analysis based on customer requirement.

Loop drawing: Signal flow analysis of various types of signals from field to DCS.

Design of Hardwired loops and logics.

Verifying Analog I/O and Digital I/O loops.

Testing devices including DCS/PLC IO cards,

oSignal conditioners, Communication networks

oEthernet connectivity, Barriers, Relays and wiring.

Interaction with the end-user/consultant, for preparation for basic documents like Vendor document index & schedule, Customer document index and schedule, Project team organization, communication protocol, front end engineering document preparation (Project Planning,Quotation etc. )

Technical consulting with vendors and suppliers to rectify material and documental issues.

Package review of materials and non-materials, detail study and approval.

Co-ordination between Designers, Suppliers, Vendors and Clients.

Reviewing P& ID’s and I/O list from the customer & assemble

DCS with HMI.

Troubleshoots the instruments during Loop Check, Punch List clearing and monitor the closeouts.

Technical Support for the Instrumentation Technicians and others during calibration checks.

Loop checking, Functional checking, calibration, troubleshooting, repair and Startup of field instruments.

Conduct Pre-FAT / Factory acceptance Tests/Site Acceptance Test with end-users/consultants.

Involved in Dispatch process of the Project.

Diploma in Electronics & Communication Engineering with First Class

Btech in Electronics & Tele Communication Engineering with First Class
