Key Achievements

Upon completion of JCI accreditation project, my contract was extended by the Human Resources Manager (Ms. Purity Wang’ondu, under whose watch I was working). I was deployed to Finance Department in order to reinforce the efforts of the payroll team of four in fast-trucking payroll processing on a month to month basis. This contributed greatly in enhancing efficiency in preparation and disbursement of salaries by 12%.

Key Achievements

I worked in a team project that oversaw improvement of operational efficiencies in Human Resources department, gearing towards Joint Commission International Accreditation compliance. The mandate involved audit of employees files in order to ensure that they were up-to-date in relation to diverse professional disciplines. In the case of doctors, I would co-ordinate trainings for their short term courses in Advanced Life Support, Advanced Trauma Life Support, Basic Life Support and Fire and Safety. Aga Khan University Hospital eventually achieved JCI Accreditation which is the highest international hospital accreditation. It became the first hospital in East Africa and one of six other hospitals in Africa to receive this coveted accreditation.
