Blue Cactus Consulting LLC - President 2006- present Business strategy, commercialization and operations consulting, primarily for life and physical sciences companies (from startups to multi-nationals) Engagements have included:
Positioned company for sale, prepared financials and legal documents, and negotiated the transaction. Company ended up selling for twice what owner had originally expected
Created multiple business opportunity analyses for biotech products for large multi-national company, which were used to successfully secure internal funding for future development
Created business, commercialization and funding strategies for multiple medical device, diagnostics and therapeutic startups, which resulted in grants and other funding
Serve as sounding board for several small and mid-size companies and assist with: key personnel decisions, new product line evaluation, strategies and launches, sales strategies and implementation, financial analysis and planning and improving operations and profitability
