Masonite International Corporation, Manchester, CT 1995 – 2010

Masonite (NYSE:DOOR) is one of the world’s leading manufacturers of interior doors and entry door systems. Currently serves more than 7,000 customers in 80 countries. Each position with Masonite was progressive; I retained each of my previous job responsibilities.

MANAGING DIRECTOR, HUMAN RESOURCES (2001 – 2010)

Challenged to blend the entrepreneurial and autonomous culture of Premdor with highly structured and hierarchical culture of recently acquired company, Masonite. Partnered with senior leadership in aligning human resources strategies with business objectives to drive organizational effectiveness and process efficiencies. Orchestrated comprehensive integration of Masonite and Premdor, including re-shaping organizational culture and design (from vertical to horizontal/cross-functional), designed new compensation and benefits strategy, realigned priorities and defined talent needs.

Led the North American Sales Force and Human Resource Function for general HR responsibilities and Compensation. Partnered with senior leaders in developing multiple sales commission based plans and broad banding strategy for human resources.
