Taught environmental education to students mainly between 4th and 6th grade. Classes pertained to animals and plants within the different ecosystems present, as well as geology, orienteering, & aquatics. All classes included human conservation efforts. Gained experience leading hikes & teaching in a new area.

Barrier Island Environmental Education Program, Seabrook Island, SC August 2014- May 2015

Taught environmental education to students 1st through 12th grade. Classes pertained to different ecosystems including; sand dunes, beach, estuarial, wetlands, & maritime forest. Other classes focused on the animals living in these ecosystems such as; mammals, fish, birds, reptiles & amphibians. All classes included human conservation efforts. Gained skills handling various reptiles & amphibians & also gained experience working in a small-scale aquarium.
