OBJECTIVE

Seeking for the position as an Instructor for Reach stacker, Empty handler, and roro/terminal tractor with a well-reputed stevedore company, container terminal, a logistics and transportation company or an organization where l can contribute with my knowledge and experience to the realization of vision and mission of that organization.

SUMMARY

Experienced in all aspect of container terminal operations, vessels, yards and specialist in container handling Equipment (CHE).

A critical supporting role in the hiring of new operators and drivers by assessing them and recommending their progress in the recruitment progress to the Training coordinator.

Conducting relevant assessments of experienced operators per Re Quip standards including re-training where necessary, and conducting random assessment of operators and drivers to ensure they work according to the APMT ReQuip standards.

Carries out daily supervision of how all trained operators are working and handling the Equipment, and report on daily/monthly utilization of all equipment

Supervise group of labour (primarily operators, drivers and Dockers) ensuring they perform their jobs efficiently, safely, and timely to provide maximum work productivity. Provides instructions to the group in accordance with standard operating and safety system

Assists and advise HSSE and operational department in selecting the proper gears to be used

Undertake any other task within the operator’s capabilities including operating and repairing a truck/tractor or equipment.

Coordinates work according to the daily schedule and instructions as advised by operations coordinators/supervisors and apply discretion in resolving any discrepancies.
