Outbound Coordinator

Managed and coordinated daily operational activities, including training and coaching 30-line haul drivers, 30 city drivers, 2 supervisors, 22 dockworkers. Established employees’ itineraries and assignments in order to optimize daily production; kept overtime down, and ensured drivers’ safety. Scheduled and orchestrated up to 30-line haul drivers’ timetables and destinations to transport outbound freight shipments each night. Generated reports nightly for shift production, on time departures, trailer cube, and overall recap. Ensured all trailers would comply with DOT regulations. Organized daily staff meetings, with the intention of discussing concerns/problems; ideas that improved ways and means; scheduling issues; training, and other matters that deal more with the trucks and equipment.

Owner/Operator

Founded company to insure obtaining a subcontracting agreement with Michels Corp the largest utilities installation company, for the purpose of winning a sizeable project installing cables for residents in Lahtrop, MO. Met all guidelines for project; procured insurance and equipment; moved to MO. Complied with contract confines; Abided by DOT and State of MO regulations, without dislocating existing utilities. Collaborated with Grand River Mutual Telephone Company, Michels Corp, and officials from the public utilities department, in Lathrop. Scrutinized daily expectations, and recorded production progress. Estimated materials for correct inventory. Outsourced vendors when necessary to maintain operations. Dissolved company in February, 2013, after received final payment.[1]
