Example achievement:

- Successful commissioning and launch of the world’s largest display wall at Times Square

Led the technical team working with the Customer. Interfaced directly with Customer, third party and AMD teams, management and executives to deliver the solution. This project represented a major PR coup for AMD.

Assigned responsibility for the overall MacPro (2014) graphics development project, one of the most innovative and advanced d professional computers.

This project was particularly complex involving collaboration with Intel during the acquisition of ATI by AMD, requiring assuaging launch Customer and AMD management concerns while continuing to drive to a successful launch. This technology was a game changer in the notebook space boosting discrete GPU intake.

Senior Account Program Manager

Managed multi-million dollar and revenue critical programs with major OEMs, to successful execution.

Example achievements:

- Devised the “pedestal” to solve silicon chip/cooling solution height differential problem

This solution was critical to retain large opportunity with major notebook manufacturer, which ensured a strong revenue stream for two generations of GPUs.

- Led the successful and TTM implementation of the first ATI SCP design with launch partner OEM

Successful launch of a GPU with on-board video RAM was critical for the next 6 generations of GPUs, providing OEMs with significant space savings and simplified designs, resulting in ATI’s 50+% market share

Identified and reported major flaw in costing structure of the technology transfer that would have had negative impact on company in the millions of dollars.

Implemented cost reduction by devising minor rework to reuse otherwise scrap materials.

By redesigning obsolete cable terminations to interface with new equipment managed to realize a saving of over $70,000.

Co-designed with engineering to design for manufacturing by aggressive use of SMT devices.

Highly complex and involving multiple disciplines and significant technical and logistic challenges, the project was off track. Following my appointment, the project was back on track and launched on time
