Midwest Regional Operations Manager

Managing the day to day operations in the Chicago market of a large and complex digital advertising project with Chicago’s Transit Authority (CTA).

Provided 144 CTA train platform and subway stations with multiple LCD screens to serve the purpose of an advertising medium, as well as train arrival, and safety information

Project caused for a 100 CTA to be outfitted with curbside LED Displays

Developed productive relationships with Government personnel, Architects, design engineers, Independent electrical contractors, Transit safety engineer, and a host of support and administrative personnel.

From hands on technology perspective, I was responsible for programming, turn up, test, calibration, and documenting every LCD display in the Chicago network.

Made and approved all elements of change control at the local level. Scope creep as an example, was a common occurrence.

Explored and completed do due diligence on new and emerging technology that would be deemed an enhancement to the existing platform. An example of this is Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, and streaming technology disciplines.

Technical Staff/Marketing Systems Engineer/Technical Marketing Manager /Senior Field Engineer

Interface with 3rd party vendors, and their products, as they relate to the continuing development of Avaya AnyPath, also heavily leveraged in the pre-sales process.

Primary duties and objectives of the Marketing Systems Engineer was to develop interfaces based directly from customer input for Lucent's Next generation Unified Messaging Platform (AnyPath).

Interfaces formerly tasked to develop were: OAMP Service Layer, LDAP Layer, TUI, GUI, and WAP interfaces. Other tasks include writing and proofing various technical documents (white papers, FDAF'S, and technical prospectus). Insuring

feature parity between older and next generation message platforms.

Accepted Technical Marketing Manager Position within the Sales and Marketing Organization. Primary duties were to support the sales and customer teams in the pre and post sales process.

Prepare and respond to RFP's and RFI's as they related to Lucent's Next Generation Intelligent Network Products (Anypath, Unified Messaging Platform, Sierra CA, PacketIN Applications Server, EMRS (Enhanced media Resource Servers), and a host of others. Prepare and present demos and presentations of the aforementioned products. Attend and represent Lucent and its products at Marketing and Trade shows.

Responsibilities I held as a Senior Field Engineer included: maintaining a specific GBS Customer base as well as Project managing and administering the V-Line platform of Octel message servers, to include proprietary peripherals, such as Octel admin servers (a dedicated NT based application database server), and many others. Other duties include overseeing the integrity and quality of work performed by Junior Field engineers.
