Lead the project team (harvesting, manuring, spraying, and maintenance) to execute the job in safely manner.

Coordinating manpower, material and any given task with appropriate time. Routine Job Description:

I. Field maintenance and Upkeep - Spraying and weeding in mature area (1573.39 Hectares) II. Harvesting - Plan, prepare and managing all harvesting area and ensure maximum crop evacuated and sent to mill.

III. Manuring – Planning, managing and ordering all fertilizer needed for the whole estate. Identify and research for nutrient deficiency in the estate and type of fertilizer that is suitable to be applied in particular area.

IV. Pest & Diseases – Identify all types of pests and diseases affecting the oil palm and determine the type of chemical or treatment to be applied in safely manner without affecting the oil palm. V. Water Management – Finding the source of water, leveling, channeling, compartmentalization, and retain the water in peat dome area safely. Identify types of water retainer to be used in specific area such as temporary water bund, tidal gate, screw gate, flap gate etc. VI. New Development – In charge of new development area starting from nursery stage, land clearing and palm planting. Resolved 972.82 Hectares of dispute area with Sarawak locals consisting of illegal squatters.

VII. Safety & Health – Provide advice to the management and staffs regarding daily safety issues. Ensuring the organization achieved its monthly OSH targets through the creation and implementation of best practice processes and procedures. Conduct regular training on chemical handling, harvesting operation, manuring operation, operating agricultural machineries, promote healthy or safe work method, and explain how their work can affect them if no proper control is practiced.
