My job duties as a nurse practitioner at Minute Clinic – CVS I provided quality and evidence-based walk-in care to all individuals 18 months and older. As a sole provider (without assistive personnel) in the clinic, I process patient’s into the clinic, send insurance claims, obtain vital signs, diagnosis/treat walk-in types of presentations/illness (e.g. Strep Throat, Otitis Media/Externa, URI, Allergic Rhinitis, UTIs, Skin presentations, etc.), make referrals when appropriate, provide routine/schedule vaccinations, complete sports/administrative physicals, comprehensive assessments, collect/order/interpret labs/diagnostics, complete monthly inventory, complete weekly ordering, and conduct routine follow-up phone calls when appropriate.
