Developed a Java interface over the native C++ using Java native methods to access OpenGL library functions, that are written in C++, from applications written in Java

Developed an application program in Java1.2 that, given an input image in ppm/pgm format, computes its histogram, gets an optimal threshold value, and converts the color/gray-level image to a two-tone image of gray levels 0 and 255. In case of rectangles and circles, the program also realizes the shape of the image object and computes its dimensions and orientation

Simulation of a client-server mechanism using TCP sockets having client send two matrices to the server which responses with a resultant matrix after a matrix multiplication performance

Developed a “Bookstore" database using Oracle and SQL. The project involved a thorough analysis of functional requirements during the design phase of the database. The database was created, reduced to 3NF form for maximum optimization and populated with sample data records. Sample queries were written in SQL and were successfully run on the database to retrieve records and perform similar functions

Developed a database system with a user-friendly GUI using Microsoft Access and Visual Basic to keep track of computer lab inventory by reading user-defined barcodes or interpreting user-input data

Incorporated multi-tasking feature in MINIX Operating System on a disk access, keeping MINIX from getting blocked on a disk read
