Software Engineer, Full Time Samsung Research, India Jul 2014 - Jul 2015 DriveWell

Designed and developed Event Detection Module in Car Analytics Project (DriveWell). Driving maneuvers like Hard Braking, Turns, Lane Changes were detected using the IMU sensors in the smartphone.

Machine learning algorithms like SVM and HMM for pattern recognition of time series data were employed for detection and classification of maneuvers.

Optimized JPEG encoder-decoder application that runs on SRP (Samsung Reconfigurable Processor). SRP is a multicore VLIW architecture of Samsung.
