Quality Assurance/ Quality Control Inspector/A&P Mechanic (if needed) My job includes the Inspections and Audits for all maintenance related activities, including scheduled and unscheduled checks IAW with CMM’s and Osp Specs of different Airlines. I’m also in charge of analyzing and monitoring Quality Control Procedures and their best interpretation for our staff. My job also includes communication with our Vendors, Clients and FAA inspectors whenever we have to present analytical procedures and data showing the most effectiveness and efficiency of our process. Miami Tech also has a passenger Airline so, I’m related with FAA regulation for 14 CFR Part 145 and 121 MRO’s. Also, I’m in charge of developing and improving our procedures for different countries IAW their certifications (EU_EASA, Venezuela- INAC, Aruba-CAA, Argentina-NCAA, Panama-CAAP, etc).

A&P Mechanic

03/15 to 05/15 – I was assigned to the Honeycomb Department as A&P Mechanic fully trained to perform repairs and overhaul of Honeycomb Seals. JAS was in the process of implementing the Honeycomb Department and they needed not only a QC Inspector but also a A&P Mechanic with the experience enough to develop a method and application of Manuals in such a delicate job. Honeycombs are critical structures that help providing greater fuel efficiency, as well as longer service life to all rotating components, which increase with temperature and centrifugal force. Ensuring proper surface wear characteristics at the blade/honeycomb interface is of utmost importance. It was me who made sure that this process was correctly applied. First thing for me as a mechanic, was to work in every single component of the honeycomb process (I remove it, blended it, heat treated, taped the honeycomb and braze it if need it). 10/14 – 03/15 –. I was first hired as a Quality Control Preliminary Inspector. My duties were to make sure that the received materials were within the scope of Airworthiness (8130’s, Serviceable Tags, etc). The position of QC Inspector is the position of a better-trained mechanic, with more years of experience, and a better understanding of GMM’s, AMM’s, Osp Specs, etc. My position allowed me to choose the repairs needed and which procedures apply: Heat Treatment, NDT, Resizing or Plasma. Calling the right repairs were fundamental to the efficiency and development of the company, reason why, a QC Inspector has to be more versed in Manuals and in experience.

06/13 – 10/14 FLIGHT LOGISTICS REPAIR GROUP (FLRG) A&P Mechanic

FLRG is FAA & EASA 145 Certified Repair Station; it specializes in the Maintenance, Repair, Overhaul and Modification of Aircraft Structures, Sheet Metal and Advanced Composites. My specific duties were the overhaul/inspection of windshields of B737, 747, 757 as well as Airbus 320, ATR42/72, and Bombardier. I repaired windshields in order to leave them in “Serviceable” or “Overhauled” condition. I’m also in charge of Bench Testing some electrical equipment as Sensors, Busbars, and Actuators and “Fresh” Tagged them with 8130-3 as an Airworthy Component. I was hired a full mechanic and assigned some QC Inspector obligations to verify the Technicians were following regulation and CMM’s to the book. I also in charge of testing some avionics equipment (joysticks, temperature sensors, etc) or troubleshoot them in order to repair them and return them to service with their respective 8130. 11/12 – 06/13 AVIATION INT’L CORPORATION (AVICO)
