Responsible for all Plant Center activities which include P&L responsibilities, Safety & Compliance, Customer Service, Maintenance, Training Programs, Production and Quality Assurance. Responsible for developing and directing plant and project operations, utilizing knowledge of product technology, utilizing lean and six sigma practices, and productive use of human resources to achieve volume, cost, and quality control objectives. Facility generates $32mm annually.

Accomplishments:

Facility ranked #1 in both manufacturing and Distribution in 2014 and 2015.

Below budget on all cost lines and above on all revenue/profit lines in 2015.

Made safety the number one priority facility wide and developed a successful functional plant safety program. We have had 2073 days without a safety incident or lost time accident.

Led the implementation of lean and 5S practices throughout the facility achieving an overall culture change,

Improving IEE by more than 29%, achieving record low labor percentages and material cost.

Converted to a JIT system for all raw materials leading the company in inventory turns and increasing cash flow.

Implemented a SOP/GMP driven quality system reducing outside customer non-conformances to .029% and a cost of quality of .009% the best companywide.

The Monroe facility was so successful with 5S implementation; Corporate asked my team to train other facilities.

Value stream mapped entire process reducing non-value added processes and increasing cycle time by more than 20%.

Developed plant-wide personnel objectives, productivity improvement procedures, formal preventive maintenance program, and an in-house repair program reducing machine down-time by more than 80%.
