As an Engineering Process technician, I use the KLA 2138 pattern recognition inspection stations, Leica inspection station, JEOL SEM and the Noran Voyager Energy Dispersive X-ray (EDX) Analyzer in combination, to locate, classify and analyze inline defects. Work with process and device engineering teams to reduce or eliminate defects and, process integration problems. Write production and engineering recipes on the KLA 2138 inspection stations and the JEOL 7555S Auto SEM. Review defects using both optical and SEM review stations, document and report findings, and assist device, module development and yield enhancement engineering with lot disposition. Gather and provide data that will help monitor and prevent scrap and line down situations. Maintain equipment and troubleshoot any problems that might arise. Mentor and train Associates with equipment operations and procedures. Provide support and customer service to the other engineers and technicians. Prepare daily reports for the movement of product and, assist in the development of specifications and training techniques.

As a Yield Enhancement Manufacturing Specialist I performed daily qualifications on the Metrology, analytical and engineering equipment in the Yield Enhancement area, ensuring the product moved efficiently by performing inspection of lots and classification of defects to determine the dispositioning of the product. Provided priority feedback on notifying engineering immediately when excursions from normal processing are identified, and making quick decisions to prevent further problems or scraping product. Job duties involved planning and coordinating efforts to eliminate bottleneck workflow and increase availability of materials to work stations. Help SPC Coordinator with responsibilities in the collection and management of engineering data for determining means, averages and standard deviations (EXCEL, JMP, and PROMIS) of the photo processes in production.
