WORK EXPERIENCE

Intralox, llc harahan louisiana. As an IP, I currently work in the Sonic Department on C shift. I am responsible for building, welding, and packaging individual modules used to produce a plastic modular belt. I am also responsible for ensuring that the parts that I make match the quality specifications that are required for each individual job worked on by me. With the experience that I have earned as a Sonic lead, I also assist in doing small setups on the manual side of sonic as well as assisting with the ASW’s as needed. I also am a formal Forklift Powered Industrial Truck and Crane Operator instructor. I am responsible for teaching forklift classes as well as crane training classes. This includes giving a practical written and driving exam for the forklift as well as practical operational exams for the overhead cranes used around the plant. (6/2013 – 8/1314)

Guitar Center New Orleans. As a sales associate in the Accessories department, I am currently responsible for delivering products and great customer service as needed to customers. Intralox LLC, Harahan, Louisiana. As a Sonic Welding Lead Coordinator, I manage the Sonic Welding department on A shift at the Plastics Plant in Harahan. I coordinate the workflow based on the current work schedule of jobs needed to be completed in Sonic. I also operate both ASW machines as well. This includes not only operation of the machines, but being able to troubleshoot and make minor repairs and corrections to the different components of each ASW to ensure that they operate smoothly and productively. I supervise a team of sonic workers, ensuring that they are productive as well. This includes making sure they are working on the correct jobs at all times while being efficient to meet time sensitive deadlines. I also ensure my department has enough inventory of raw materials via the material handler. I often use Oracle to monitor the usage of parts and what is needed to complete each job. I then convey the information to the material handler for him to order as necessary. I am also a qualified forklift trainer and operator. As a forklift trainer, I am responsible for teaching a State qualified forklift class, as well as giving practical driving exams to the students. Intralox LLC, Harahan, Louisiana. As a Training Materials Developer, I created training documentation to assist various departments. This included creating job aids, presentations, and interactive programs using Microsoft PowerPoint, Front Page, Adobe Acrobat, Adobe Photoshop CS, and Macromedia Captivate. I also created and maintained a video news program that kept employees updated on Company current events and news worthy articles on a monthly basis. I was responsible for creating vinyl signs and labels to effectively organize tools and equipment.
