EXPERIENCE

Drilling Engineer – Southwestern Energy Company July 2015-January 2016 Spring, TX

Directly responsible over two drilling rigs in the Fayetteville Shale, planned and drilled over 35 wells. Estimated costs, gathered geologic information, reviewed offset information, designed well parameters, cement design, drilling fluids, drill bits, etc.

Completed a case study to determine the feasibility of drilling in a deeper formation. Found that drilling in a deeper formation will not lead to further hole issues and provided a drilling plan for a well to be drilled in formation.

Executed decisions and consulted with drilling rig company man during hole issues. Furthermore, 24/7 responsibility and communication with the rig along with field visits to supervise.

Created and implementing an accurate method to estimate top of cement and helped SWN avoid AR Regulatory Issues. Production Engineer – Southwestern Energy Company January 2015-July 2015 Conway, AR

Managed and optimized over 300 wells in the Fayetteville Shale. Directly responsible for the performance of each well.

Evaluated and decided artificial lift methods for wells in my area requiring gas flow assistance. Worked with multiple methods including: foamer, intermitter, plunger, wellhead compression, gas lift, managed annular flow, and downhole pumps.

Designed a field study resulting in a method to determine the optimum artificial lift method based on pressures and flow-rates. This study tremendously helped save time and ensured the best form of artificial lift was used.

Utilized WeDET to determine the need for remedial work such as acid injection, workover rig drill outs, or tubing replacements due to corrosion and/or solids buildup in wellbore.

Utilized ARIES to estimate the economics of installing artificial lift or performing remedial work on wells. Created procedures to provide step-by-step instructions for the field personnel.

Direct management over field personnel and daily communication with production field hands. Drilling Engineer Intern – Southwestern Energy Company May 2014-August 2014 Houston, Texas/Tunkhannock, Pennsylvania

Assisted with well planning Marcellus wells in Pennsylvania by ensuring optimal well plans, regulatory compliance, and BHA configuration.

Developed a database for the drilling program to facilitate data analysis and identify top performing bits and BHAs.

Created a tool to estimate drilling times. This tool was able to more accurately predict various drilling durations, when compared to traditional methods used. Greatly increased time and cost estimation ability.

Gathered and analyzed recent drilling data to provide insight into the increase of recent unexpected tripping out. Field Intern – Southwestern Energy Company May 2013-August 2013 Damascus, Arkansas

Installed wellheads, separators, and flowlines on newly flowing wells. Installed flowrate and pressure measurement equipment once wells were brought online. Installed compressors on wellheads for artificial lift. EDUCATION
