Review of engineering design of complex systems (e.g., nuclear power plants) through engineering drawings, PSAR, thermal hydraulic analysis and systems description reports

Damage assessment using sophisticated analysis tools (e.g., Fire Dynamic Tools)

Evaluation of event probabilities using fault tree and event tree tools (e.g., CAFTA software)

Review of standard operating procedures (SOPs) and emergency operating procedures

(EOPs)

Risk analysis of major events using established Probabilistic Risk Analysis tools and methods.

COMPUTER SKILLS

CAFTA systems modeling (fault tree and event tree) software,

FRANX software – analyzing fire risk at power plants,

Fire Dynamic Tools (FDT) – assessing fire damage,

RELAP5/mod3.2 Thermal Hydraulic Code, in support of accident analysis (Guidelines of 10 CFR 50 Appendix K)
