PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE

With more than ten years of experience as a Video Editor and Camera Operator, I am adept in filming all types of events, do spontaneous interviews, edit in Final Cut Pro and Premiere, supervise studio setup and manage equipment requirements. Moreover, my career experience has afforded me a well-rounded skill set, including all media management (print, social media and broadcast TV) and organizational skills. My background in journalism is also a great asset for interviews and story-telling.

The City Of Miramar

Multimedia & Broadcast Manager (Oct. 2014 to Oct. 2015) Media Coordinator (2007 to 2014) – Graphic Designer (2005 to 2007) I am an experienced professional in broadcast television (camera operator & video editor) and multimedia marketing.

Managed and supervised the City's audio-visual projects from post production to broadcast. Filmed and edited a multitude of events such as music festivals, Broadway shows, police & fire rescue ceremonies, graduations, local parades, construction, and countless interviews with celebrities and politicians.

Served as technical director to transport and assemble audio and video equipment on location; set up and operate cameras, lighting and audio equipment and monitor and adjust equipment during production sessions.

Performed as production manager, camera operator, video editor (FCP), reporter, script writer, voice over talent and digital producer.

Researched and recommended acquisition of infrastructure, equipment and props to support the audio-visual operations.

Managed the audio-visual technical needs and purchases of lighting, microphones and camera equipment as well as software and hardware to properly maintain data backup. I launched Miramar TV & Miramar’s YouTube Channel exceeding 150,000 views which helped put Miramar on the map.

I implemented Miramar's E-blast, Facebook, Twitter, and other social media; designed and built many internet websites, databases and animated presentations. I designed and created The Miramar Studio to facilitate onsite 3-camera interviews. I managed and supervised the City's print and multimedia team. The Miami Herald

Volunteer Broadcast & Multimedia Marketing (2000 to now) I created ACT 4 TIBET (ACT = Assist the Children of Tibet) as a branch of Yogi Tsori Dechen Rinpoche’s non-profit organization to help support one of the poorest Tibetan Refugee Camps in Mainpat India. I implemented various projects to provide financial support, medical assistance and other basic necessities to the Tibetan people under the care of Lama Tulku Karma Tsori Rinpoche.
