1.Mini project :

Title of the project: Aquarium Control Model

Objective: To indicate any change in the aquarium

Description: The proposed system monitors any change in the aquarium with the help of various sensors such as temperature sensor,level sensor etc. Also we are designing control section using four relays to keep the environmental climate constant. The sensor information is given to the microcontroller unit. It is given to the LCD for display purpose. The microcontroller we have used is 8052.For temperature we have used LM 35.

2.Main Project:

Title of the project: Intelligent neonatal monitoring using RF link

Objective: Creating a compact and cost efficient system for monitoring various parameters using different sensors without disturbing the baby and transmitting these parameters using RF link as well as displaying on the LCD screen

Description: The proposed system monitors the important body parameters such as heart rate, respiratory rate and temperature of a neonatal. It uses three sensors for measuring these three parameters and this sensor information is given to the microcontroller unit. It is then given to the LCD for display purpose and also it is transmitted to the nearby PC for monitoring using ZIGBEE module. Also if any of the parameters go above or below threshold value then the LEDs located near the bed of the baby starts flashing indicating the emergency. The microcontroller we have used is ATMEGA 16. For temperature, respiratory rate and heart rate measurement we have used LM 34, thermistor of value 1 k and digital output sensor 1157 from sunroom technologies respectively.
