Our client (Utility Organization) had the need for Route Adherence solution. They wanted the solution to take advantage of their mobile and work management data sources. Their goal was to have an application that would graphically track each technician's route on a daily basis. They also wanted to tack each time a technician went off-route. These off-route occurrences would be classified as Unscheduled Stops, Long Duration, Non-Arrivals and Non-Completes. I lead the effort to translate these business requirements to functional design and then to a workable solution. This was accomplished by the following: Leading the design/development of an ETL process that would integrate data from the mobile and work management Page4

systems using a combination of PL/SQL and proprietary ETL software. Working with our client’s IT department to map source data from the mobile and work management solutions Working with the production team to implement a graphical map including figuring out how the technicians would be represented. Lead technical meetings with project sponsors, business analysts and subject matter experts to discuss project status, change requests and perform gap analyst. The application had a positive impact on our client’s technician’s performance. It was later integrated into my company’s software suite and sold to other customers.
