MMP project is worth Rs. 510 millions and is jointly sponsored by the Govt. of India and Bihar State Govt. VATMIS is the software developed by Tata Consultancy Services that is being used all across the Department for offering its services to dealers electronically. E-Services being widely adopted by the Department, it has seen double digit growth over the last 3 years.

The system consists of the server, wireless handheld terminals held by brokers on the trading floor and booth terminals installed in the trading booths on the exchange floor. The server interfaces with FIX interfaces using the FIX (Financial Information exchange) protocol. On receiving a new Futures or Options order, server stores the order and routes it to the appropriate booth or handheld for execution. The FORMS handheld client gives the floor broker a mobile, lightweight and ergonomic mechanism to manage order activity in the trading crowd. The Booth Client which runs on Widows XP is the main interface for the broker’s support staff and can set order routing rules and also create and execute new orders.
Migrated Sybase ASE12 database to Oracle 10g database using the Oracle Migration Workbench.
