Managed the technology implementations and operational management methodologies of a new co-location datacenter. Office Depot, Inc., Delray Beach, FL - June, 2007 – August, 2008 Senior Manager, Global E-Commerce

Managed global e-commerce engineering and operations initiatives for a leading supplier of office products and services consisting of over 50,000 employees with annual revenue of over $15 billion.

Responsible for the engineering and operations of global web sites that supported headquarters, retail, business to business, distribution channels, delivery centers and call center locations.

Managed a 25 person domestic and international team responsible for the design, implementation and support of global e-commerce infrastructures resulting in revenues of over $6 billion with an annual budget responsibility of $10 million.

Reengineered over 200 global e-commerce and B2B websites to 64 bit architecture converting the Windows based systems to Linux. This included IBM WebSphere, Microsoft and Oracle application servers leveraging technologies such as Akamai and Gomez to enhance user experience, increase performance, and improve system measurements and accuracy.

Responsible for the operational monitoring and reporting of global e-commerce web sites to ensure key performance indicators (KPI), quality, accuracy and service level agreements (SLA) were maintained. This ensured a top five Keynote retail ranking in performance and availability.
