Contract Industrial Designer / Cdeldesign studio San Diego, California October 2014 - current Currently taking various projects from clients to ful ll their product development requests. Working on a variety of concepts allow me to solve a diverse range of problems. I can successfully deliver project requirements with aggressive deadlines, manage product development from concept to prototype, and maintain positive client relationships. Spin Master Toys Preschool Design Department Culver City, California October 2008 - October 2014 Managed numerous toy lines to help Spin Master’s new preschool design group to compete successfully with much larger companies like Hasbro and Disney. Created many concept sketches, product displays, and presentation materials for sales summits, and toy fairs. Took ownership of new toy lines during development and production. Developed the ability to design within tightening cost restraints and work successfully with engineering departments both in house and in Hong Kong. Led and presented research ndings of the abilities of children between the ages of 2 to 5 years old in order to better develop more engaging products for the preschool demographic. Playmates Toys Boys Toys Design Department Costa Mesa, California August 2007 - October 2008 Developed several toy lines within a small team of ve designers and three marketing colleagues. Together we produced concept art, foam core models, and presentation materials to be reviewed by upper management. This process led to toy products launching with great impact at retailers like Target, WalMart, and Toys R Us. EMAK ( Equity Marketing ) Toy Design (6-month internship) Los Angeles, California 2003 - 2004 Talking Scooby Snacks Maker. Primarily generated numerous concept ideas for the Scooby-Doo license. Finalized the product and participated in company meetings to address issues of safety, marketability and pro tability. Operated under tight budget constraints and learned how to be e cient with limited resources. The toy was successfully sold at Target, Toys R Us, and WalMart. INTERESTS

I thrive on solving riddles, puzzles, and brain teasers. This trait started in elementary school and has shaped my career choice as an Industrial Designer. Current role as Principal Project Manager at cdeldesign studio allows for the product development cycle from initial project brief to nal working prototype. This requires an expert understanding of how to develop within tight budget and time restraints, project goals, and successful management of the client relationship.
