Coordinates with the Shift Supervisor/ Bed Management regarding room assignment for incoming patient based on patient choice and prioritization policy.
Orients patient/relative about the conditions of admission, advance directives, patient’s rights and responsibilities, and hospital policies and procedures.
Completes Medical Coding (ICD-10) as a required field in the hospital system.
Registers patient for out-patient procedure at the Emergency Room, Operating Room and Radiology Department.
