JOB PROFILE:-

Having more than 18 years experience and well knowledge in NDT/corrosion inspection.

Non-destructive testing field in the disciplines of Ultrasonic, Radiographic, Magnetic Particle and Dye Penetrant inspection.

WORK SUMMARY:-

•Carried out the NDT inspection (UT/RT/PT/MT & VT) on various components.

•External and Internal Visual inspection on Pressure vessels, Heaters, Boilers, Refinery Piping, Oil storage Tanks and Spheres.

•Corrosion monitoring by UT on Refinery piping and Equipments (Vessels, Drum, Reactor).

•Ultrasonic scanning on existing welds of pressure vessels and oil storage tanks.

•Carried out thickness Gauging, UT weld scanning, Fluorescent MPI and Dye Penetrant Test in, Columns, Pressure vessels, Heaters, Heat exchangers and boilers at the time of shutdown / Turnaround in the Gas plant.

•Periodic Checking on all high pressure piping/ pipelines and all process equipment by using UT.

•Responsible for UT interpretation and repair work.

•Responsible for all radiographic films interpretation and review.

•Off stream and On stream inspection on plant piping and static equipment.

•Maintenance of Records to check the Corrosion rate/year.

•Control of weld overlap, chemical injection / Inhibitor selection in consultation with supplier.

•Familiar with handling of all Project QA/QC Documents.

•Raw material Inspection.

•Managing Documentation as per Project Requirements.

•Transfer of information between Company and Contractor.

•Preparation and review of weld control sheets.

•Reviewing quality procedures of sub-contractors.

•Dimension Inspection according to the drawings.

•Magnetic particle testing and Dye penetrant testing in turnaround for general dehydration unit (GDU) etc… and inspection for oil and gas well piping.

•Internal Visual Inspection on Equipments the time of shutdown/Turnaround.

•Report to Corrosion/Inspection on the immediate action if necessary.
