It is a universal bank with operations in retail, wholesale and investment banking, as well as wealth management, mortgage lending and credit cards. It has multiple sources of data in various formats which gets passed through a layer called BEM(Barclays enterprise middleware) and then data is passed to various downstream systems. All validations is done in BEM layer.

Responsibility:

Discussion with BA for new IRD document to understand the requirements for the module and create query log.

Creation of Low level design document and get it reviewed by the client.

Allocate BC&E expenses using an activity-based model. Provide a global repository for trade, expense and rate data that can be accessed by various business areas and made available to existing financial systems.

Duration: 17th Aug 2009 to June 2011.

Responsibility:

Requirement Analysis through business model and functional model.

Involved in writing High level design (HLD) and low level design (LLD) documents for Informatica components during the design phase.
