Field Superintendent

With my short time with Axiom Construction

I was hired to oversee the building of a First Choice Emergency center off Rayford, the job was delayed do the Engineer drawing was not accurate, so the drawing had to be resubmitted for pricing to the city. That delayed the job for two months. My first job with Axiom construction was a renovation of Showbiz Movie theater in Kingwood TX.. The job was off schedule and die line had to be met and they need a night shift supervisor, I volunteered for the position.

Demo out and renovate the following areas, Build new ticket boot, New case work for Wet bar area, New tile behind Wet Bar are, New wooden rails throughout the hallways, Replacement of all 14 theaters seating and repainting the theater floors, Renovate old ticket boot into a storage room, Restripe existing parking lot, New Show Biz marquee sign .

After we opened that job on time I was relocated to the Willow brook store front and Goodwill renovation. That Job site was off schedule and had a weekly die lines until done. The job was a build on site, little or no drawing with engineering and architects on speed dial

2009 – 2013 Aldine Independent School Districts

General Superintendent

Do my time as General Superintendent I overseen the building of (3) new schools from the ground up. 2009 Garcia-Leza EC-PK, in 2010 Rayford Intermediate, and 2012-2013 Davis Sr. High School

I was Responsible for six Field Superintendents, and the following jobs ever year oversee the renovations of (4) school kitchen, (10) Middle school CTE Labs renovations, (4) High schools Band hall addition and renovations, Update and installation of new security camera around the school district, Middle school band hall, supervised completions of all final punch list items. Conduct Meet with engineers and architects to approve drawing. Hiring of all subcontractor. Making construction schedule starting date and job end date. Weekly reports, estimating sheets to budget total job cost.

2007 – 2009 Aldine Independent School Districts

Superintendent of Construction

When I was hired I was assigned to build from the ground up in 2007 A.W. Jones EC/ Pre K school (28,000 Sq. Ft. building), at the same time overseen the Building from the ground up A.W. Junes Elementary School (29,500 Sq. Ft building). 2008 finished the Renovated of kitchens with the general superintendent. 2008 overseen the renovation of (4) special educational class rooms. 2008 overseen the installation of a new workout build for Aldine High school football players

Duties as Superintendent of Construction:

oDaily Progress meeting /consultation with field superintendents on status of individual jobs.

oDaily update with Executive Director to keep him informed on job schedules, job completion dates,

oMet with engineer and architects to go over blueprints before, during, and after completion of jobs.

oVisit the jobs sites daily, meet with field superintendents to discuss issues, concerns, and status updates.,

oWorked very closely with project manager to make sure that jobs are completed on time or ahead of schedule.

oSchedule a walk through with the County Fire Marshall for all County jobs and for all city jobs get C.O

2001– 2007 Ideal Homes

The duties and responsibilities with Ideal Homes include the following:

oPrepared blueprints to meets city codes to obtain permits to build

oMaterial take off to estimate total job cost

oOrganized materials list and negotiated subcontractor contracts to remain within the allocated budget.

oPrepared monthly project status reports and resolved any problems with subs or customers

oOversee payment of contractor and evaluate change orders

oConduct inspection and follow up inspections on the building site until job completion

oPrepare bids and pricing special items for custom homes

oBuilt six 6 ) custom homes in four ( 4 ) different counties

1995- 2000 United Built Homes

Sales Men

The duties and responsibilities with United Built Homes include the following:

oMeeting with new customer at their homes are my office to go over a custom floor plan are one of ours.

oPutting of City permits and counties permits to build

oOversee the Filling out of home loan application, for loan approval to build

oOrder survey and appraisal for customer property

oConduct Closing of loans and oversee to building of the new home

oDoing construction of home conduct four walkthroughs

oAfter new home has been built if customer defaults on loan, I would have a meeting with custom to work out a payment plan.

oWith United Built home I have sold over 200 homes, won the award for top seller 3 years, and won over 3 vacation trips.
