Responsible for cost effective production of Re bars through Induction Furnace-CCM-RM route. Manpower management, Material Management, Logistic Control, Product Quality Control and Safety of Men and Machine.

Production Manager:

a.Hot Rolling Mill Division: Production of Rebars(TMT bars), down day planning, maintenance planning, size change planning with respect to orders. Day to day activities planning, production planning and control. Controlling non conformity of the product. Increasing in yield, productivity in cost effective manner. Spares planning. Successful commissioning of 3 slit and 2 slit for 8 mm, 10 mm, 12 and 14 mm respectively. Also looking after the entire project activities. Responsible for entire activities inside the complex. Delegation of jobs for concerned agencies. Fixing the day targets for different sections, supervising and helping them to achieve the same in cost effective manner. Review of data sheets, recommendations for improvement, yield enhancement and cost control. Reduction of Cobles, delays, increasing machine availability time.

b.SMS Division: Production of Steel through Induction Furnace - Ladle Furnace/Oxygen Blowing – CCM route. Pre and Post commissioning procurement, Commissioning, Yield enhancement, Increase in productivity reduction in delays, continual improvement. Preparation of Charge mix for Induction furnace. Operation and Maintenance planning of Shredder, Induction Furnace and Ladle furnace. Refractory Management. Scrap Management.

c.Auxiliary Unit Division: Operation and Maintenance of 400 m3/hr Liquid Oxygen plant, LPG Pumping Facility, Water Treatment Plant, Genset Plant and 150m3/hr Acetylene plant.

Manpower Management:

Selection suitable candidates for different activities. Formation of teams, delegation of jobs. Planning for recruitment with the help of HR department. Assessment and appraisal of team members. Guiding the required member for improvement. Organizing technical sessions for members.

Material Management:

Selection of suitable raw material and their procurement plan. Planning of consumable for different departments. Scheduling of material. Planning for charge mix for Melt shop. Receiving and segregating different types of scraps. Reviewing the Melt shop refractories performance. Recommendations for better products. Preparation of Budget for CAPEX and OPEX for all divisions.

Logistic Control:

Planning and execution of receiving and dispatch of material and vehicle movement control in an effective and safe manner.

Technological Management:

Review, recommendation and helping the management in selection best suitable technical equipment at better cost. Selection of suitable vendors after technical assessment.

Product quality control:

Preparing and reviewing standards with the help of quality department. Organizing for internal audits. Chemical test and Physical properties tests for rebars(TMT) as per ISO standards. Analyzing and recording of various material received. QMS implementation.

Safety Management:

Responsible for the Safety of Men and Machine by supervising HSE team and helping in meeting standards.

Heavy equipment:

Responsible for best utilization of heavy equipment and their maintenance and spares planning. Controlling of operators.
