Responsibilities

As a welder started working in Aerospace Manufacturing section involved fabricating and welding of Aluminum, Stainless Steel and Steel fuel oil and water pipes running from engine, ECS (Cockpit cabins), PFS (Propulsion Fuel Systems) and hydraulic systems tanks by TIG and MIG Welding. Sheet Metal fabrication work and equipment fit out and maintenance of Aircraft rust repairs of parts welding is involved as per standards. Worked in pressure testing of the completed welding components by both Pneumatic and Hydraulic Pressure test rigs as per standards, worked in mark out, cut, develop and fabricate according to engineering drawings, also experienced in gas flame cutting, plasma cutting and gouging.

Certified with CRI approval to perform and manufacture Aircraft components of AIRCRAFT in Various categories such as Aluminum Alloys, Low Carbon Steel Alloys, Stainless Steel Alloys, Nickel Alloys and Titanium Alloys in TIG Welding, Gas Welding, and Spot Welding.

Assessing the accomplished welding work and making sure that the pre determined specifications are met. Cleaning and maintaining the metal components with the help of various tools namely portable grinder wire brush etc.., and important procedures like chemical bath cleaning.

Assembling the components on weld jigs ensuring adequate clamping and easy axis to parts which have to be welded, using instruments like calipers height gauges and checking fixtures gauges and contour plates for ensuring the drawing specifications. Well trained in adopting safeties at regular intervals like PPE’s.
