Key Responsibilities & Accomplishments

Design consideration, develop and implements of chemical dosing as per standard operating procedures, performance test, preservation, ensuring proper functioning of all pre & post equipment’s of RO plant.

Identify & sorting out the Abnormalities in regeneration, organic fouling, heavy metal fouling, loss in OBR, chemical consumption of DM plant.

Feed, steam, condensate & boiler water chemistry to avoid corrosion & deposition. Precommissioning cleaning including cold & hot water flushing, acid cleaning, alkali boilout etc., for boiler.

Cooling tower treatment like low pH cleaning, passivation before start-up & regular chemical treatment to avoid scaling, corrosion, deposition.

Quality analysis of Bulk Chemicals (N2H4, TSP, HCl, NaOH, Morpholine, H2SO4, HYPO etc.) Preparation of standard Analytical Chemicals and Deviation Graphs for testing accuracy with safety and quality.

Sampling, proximate & Ultimate analysis of coal (Ash%, Moisture%, Volatile Matter %, Fixed Carbon %) GCV of Coal and other Biomass fuels

Planning & utilization of man power, materials & annual contracts as per required, preparation of MIS reports & annual budget to minimize production cost, decision making during any emergency operation.

Waste Water management, water conservation to minimize water loses, disposal of spent chemical & ensure safety environment and health norms, managing local complaints regarding water pollution.

Maintenance of equipment’s like dosing pumps, degasser system, pumps, blowers & Condenser cleaning etc.

Analysis of Raw water and its treatment, Analysis of input chemicals, Testing and Analyzing of D.M / Boiler/ Cooling towers/ Effluent water and Coal.

Standardization of volumetric solutions and test solutions preparation, updating and control of reference standards and working standards.

Instruments handle: UV-Visible Spectrophotometer, Flame Photometer, Bomb Calorimeter, pH meter, Conductivity meter, DO. Analyzer, ICP OES. And maintain calibration records for the instruments.

Following EHS guidelines and identification of hazards involved in day to day work activities and bringing the risk to low level.

Coordinating with the outside technical teams for process up gradation.

Development of new work practices by applying management initiatives like 5S and TPM and developing good work culture by involving the employees in these activities.

Certified Internal INTEGRATED MANAGEMENT SYSTEM Auditor (ISO 9001, ISO 14001 and OHSAS 18001) by DNV.
