1994-CURRENT: I have held a number of managerial and supervisory positions including assistant manager to department and store manager for corporations such as Olan Mills, Kmart, Glazer’s Kirby, W.J. Schroer, Kellogg’s Research & Development Center Security Department, Piercing Pagoda and the development and managing of my own projects such as Atlanta Urban Wear, An Independent Clothing line, well known for being the first clothing line to “represent” Atlanta, in which I launched several campaigns that gained the web store awards for being in the Top Famous Web stores of 2011, Recognition as placing 11th in the Grant Contest with Small Biz Café Grant Contest for Small Businesses around the world, Award for its Organic Cotton Urban Scarves’ Collection and International recognition and selected and invited to London Margin, The World’s Largest World Mass Market for Independent clothing lines, AUW being the first urban line being invited by London Margin. Atlanta Urban Wear through my managerial, promotional and marketing knowledge and skills successfully introduced 3 Foreign Accessory lines to the United States through its launch in May 2011; exclusively available through AUW. My management knowledge and skills are superior to many in my league and has won me the recognition in many platforms as a success in this venture and other areas of my career pursuits; allowing my the advantage of executing plans, strategies and promotions with an innovative precision that is an invaluable asset to any corporation.

MARKETING/ADVERTISING/PROMOTIONS:

1994-CURRENT: I have utilized my marketing, advertising and promotional skills and expertise in many industries and in many plans of development and strategies to execute for a number of entities, small businesses and independent musical artists. I have expertise in networking; online and in-person which has proved to be an intricate source of innovative progression in the sources utilized and accessed to make the launch of a campaign not only a success but executable. My skills and knowledge have been serviced to launch small business & entities, campaigns for independent musical artists, restaurants, daycares, expansion and franchises throughout the United States including overseas in countries such as England and Kenya. The types of businesses include but are not limited to: Youth Group Homes, Daycares, Nursing Homes, Churches, Event Halls, Bakery Shops, Holistic Health Centers, and Independent Musical Artists in the United States. I execute the plans of not only my own campaign efforts with up-to-date data and research but with the creative, out-of-the-box thinking and maneuvering that is effective & essential to proper and success of any projects goal of a successful marketing, promotional and/or advertising campaign.

GRANT EXPERIENCE:

2005-CURRENT: In 2005 I wrote and won a grant for my community to be cleaned up, through the YES WE CAN FOUNDATION and win an award for exemplary execution of the project that included press coverage for our neighborhood grant and improvements. Since then I have pursued a career in grant writing and consultations, which the program and services I have fulfilled have gained ground from entities in New Jersey, Ney York, Washington D.C., Georgia, Alabama and Southern California. With a 98% success rate with the grant services I offer I have successfully assisted many small businesses, entities and community and economic development projects acquire funding through the innovative and effective grant research and composition services. The Small Businesses, Entities and Projects I’ve acquired funding for are: Restaurants, Barbershops, Clothing Stores, Event Halls, Youth Group Homes, Daycares, Productions Companies, Transitional Housing, Rehabilitation Centers, Housing Initiatives and NON-PROFITS such as churches, youth programs and other community outreach programs and initiatives. With my own projects I have acquired funding for Atlanta Urban Wear through various campaigns, grant submissions and fundraising, which I still pursue on a continuous basis for funding stability, which I promote through my services offered for financial health and longevity of the small business market.

In 2010 was nominated and received the award as the most successful business woman in Atlanta and was chosen to represent Atlanta for the years of 2010-2012 by the National Association of Executive and Professional Women.
