Objective
To utilize my B.Sc degree in mechanical engineering and over 20 years experience in the field of maintenance reliability management, PdM, PM, RCFA, API standards, vibration analysis (certified), wet seals & dry gas seals, corrosion analysis, maintenance coaching (certified) to hold a position as a Fixed & Rotating Equipment Reliability Engineer.
Summary of Maintenance Reliability Experience
Applied API-610 for centrifugal pumps and API-682 standard for mechanical seals technology (single, double & tandem), piping plan modification, and seals selection through failure analysis, cavitation solutions, pump H-C performance curve & deal with quick response center. Expert with Flow Serve & John Crane seals.
Lead, supervised and worked as a focal point for the site bad actor activities, followed-up in gap closure to finds solutions and generated the required technical recommendations for equipment chronicle problems.
Monitored the condition of centrifugal compressors through controlling;
a.Surging by setting inlet guide vane IGV percentage opening, pressure & inlet capacity utilizing surging curve.
b.Monitoring the pressure drop across intake air filter
c.Rotor assembly vibration analysis.
d.Intercoolers and after coolers cleaning frequency.
e.Monitoring the off gases from the dry gas seal utilizing seal control panel. Expert with Dry gas seal failure analysis.
Enhanced equipment availability through conducting PdM, vibration analysis (certified by BINDT Institute), oil analysis, RCFA, PM modification, MOC’s to change process & design. Provided applicable and effective maintenance solutions to achieve zero LTI.
Advanced knowledge with general, special purpose turbines and STG’s components in details (electrical governors, diaphragm, labyrinth seal, bearings, etc.), system enclosed with the turbine (gland steam system and lubrication system), turbine protection system (over speed trip mechanism, low vacuum trip device, loss of oil pressure trip device and thrust bearing failure trip device) & turbine instrumentation (thrust bearing wear indicator, turbine expansion meter, shaft bowing indicator, etc.).
Monitored the condition of GTG’s and systems enclosed with the gas turbine. Monitored the exhaust gases (Nox, Cox, Sox) condition through HRSG to protect environment and stake holders.
Generated technical report, recommendations, technical advice, support engineering and operation management, write down the required correspondence with the vendors for any abnormalities for the critical equipment (expert in technical writing).
API-618 standard and monitored the condition of reciprocating compressors (vibration analysis, valves temperature, piston rod and rider ring, calculating number of oil drops per lubricator) and diesel engines.
Commissioned new and after maintenance equipment, disposition discrepancies between documentation and actual field installed equipment. Conducted engineering justifications to direct the contractors to resolve discrepancies before start up.
Performed project engineering and management [project control (man power, tools & equipment control, activities propagation and activities sequences control), cost control and safety in place to protect personnel to achieve zero LTI].
Assisted in preparing operating budget OPEX and support project engineering in preparing capital expenses budget CAPEX.
Coordinated and forecasted equipment critical spare parts reviews and parts optimization through mitigation number of parts required by creating equipment solidification and integration, especially for pumps.
Prepared turnaround work list and T/A management.
Lead on Job Training (OJT) for new technicians and engineers. Conducted technical training sessions. Maintained all materials related to the technical training sessions, including session handouts, presentations and job aids.
