EMPLOYMENT HISTORY

Trican Well Service (Field Engineer-Hydraulic Fracturing, August 2014 – March 2015)

oJob duties included setting up all computers for a fracturing job during the rig up of a new well, ensure that Fracpro, Fracnet, SMARTS and Accufrac were all up and running correctly to enable accurate recording of data and modeling of the fracture using Fracpro.

oEnsure the quality of the fluid system was the highest that field conditions permitted, this included running QC tests prior to pumping slurry downhole, regulating set points/concentrations of various chemicals in use such as the instant and delayed cross linkers, the scale inhibitors, clay stabilizers, pH buffers, etc.

oMost important was ensuring that the job treater adhered to the design of the job and I ensured that pressure was maintained at a reasonable and safe level to ensure good fracture propagation and also to prevent a possible screen out of the wellbore. Ability to think quickly on your feet was imperative.

oPost frac job, I was responsible for creating a report which summarized the frac job. This report included graphs of the clean and slurry rates, pressure levels, sand and chemical concentrations, total job volume of chemicals, sand, water and acid, and the KPI (detailed records of every event that occurred throughout the whole job) along with any other information requested by the customer.

Trican Well Service (Coil Tubing Equipment Operator, April 2014 – August 2014)

oJob duties included operating the triplex pump used for pumping mostly acid during a coiled tubing job

oRigging up and down all the iron pre and post job respectively

oFixing any minor mechanical issues with the equipment such as a blown packing etc.

oEnsuring that the equipment is always spotless and ready to go out on a job at a moment’s notice

PKC Enterprises (Independent Kirby Dealer, January 2014 - April 2014)

oAs a door to door sales man I was responsible for selling the Kirby Vacuum cleaner Sentria ll by knocking on the doors of private homes and performing a demonstration which usually lasted anywhere from 30 minutes to 3 hours depending on the buying temperature of the customer.

Rice McVaney Communications (Microsoft student Representative at Texas Tech University, August 2011-August 2012)

Texas Tech University (Student caller at the Office of Annual Giving, August 2010 - May 2011). Raised over $25,000 for Texas Tech University

The Daily Toreador (Staff writer, July 2010- November 2010)

Texas Tech University (Busboy at the Student Union building food court, June2009-July 2009)

PROJECTS COMPLETED

Worked on a couple of leases on the Southwest levelland unit operated by Apache Corp. Used PHDWin (An Economics and decline curve analysis program) to perform a water flooding operation and forecast how much oil was recoverable and the project’s recovery efficiency

Given different types of wells (existing, shut-in, recompletion, infill offsets) used PHDWin to come up with a forecast for some of the wells, determined rate of return given a certain investment and also came up with a new well and forecast it’s behavior based on the infill offsets surrounding the lease.

Using MATLAB, wrote a code to use the Numerical analysis method of Guass-Seidel/Successive Over relaxation to simulate a reservoir (400 x 400 matrix) with an injection well at the end, applying various boundary conditions to observe the pressure decline.
