Executive Director/Ordained Outreach Pastor, The Harvest Center of Charlotte, Inc./Community Outreach Christian Ministries, Inc. Charlotte, NC. 1993 to 2012.

Responsibilities include financial management and reporting, church administration, outreach coordination, counseling, Bible teaching and preaching, family ministry, and property management in a 550-person congregation in an urban setting.

Acted as Chief-of-staff and supervised a staff of ten (10) employees and over 350 volunteers to impact the lives of over 15,000 homeless individuals, low income families, and neighborhood youth in an urban, non-profit organization, including hot meals, grocery and clothing distribution, medical testing, and haircuts. Interviewed, monitored, and supervised over 500 offenders assigned by the court system to do community service.

Led organization to become the number one agency three years running (over 1.8 million pounds of food) at the Second Harvest Food Bank of Metrolina, which includes over 650 agencies in 19 local counties.

Led fundraising efforts and wrote grants to attract funding. Initiated partnerships with local churches and organizations to generate support and volunteer efforts.

Provided ministry training and counsel to fifteen ministers and twelve deacons. Utilized the Methodist “Class Meeting” format to promote spirituality, compassion, and awareness.
