Description of the project:

Aviall Inc. is among the largest providers of Supply Chain solutions to the aerospace and defense sectors. The objective of the project was to automate the Sales and Operations Planning process followed by Aviall. The existing process was executed entirely using Excel with data sourced from multiple applications. The solution provided a unified view of the data by building a data mart serving the OLAP layer capable of receiving and persisting user inputs. ETL processes were developed to load data into the data mart from various sources including – Excel reports, ERP application, Inventory management and forecasting application, Data warehouse.
