Courses Studied: Fundamentals of the refinery process, equipment, and auxiliaries involved. Learning how to interpret and create process flow diagrams, and process instrumentation diagrams. Introduction to basic boiler operation, instrumentation and control systems simulations with SimGemics for power plant operation and Simtronics for refinery operation, along with basic DCS, PLC, and Delta V use.

Major overhaul of the gas plant, the majority of the work my crew and I performed at the plant was the removal, and installation of blinds, valves, and exchangers. Confined space, hot work inside vessels, we also removed two large vessels, fuel gas filters and large pressure relief valve from a distillation column.
